According to Amanda… The Beginning Lifestyle

Wow! After almost 2 years of wanting to start my own blog I am finally realizing my dream!

This past summer my family and I made a big decision; leave my stressful, busy corporate marketing role and become a full time stay at home mom. It seemed like the most difficult decision to make at the time. It was difficult. I had always been very career focused and was leaving a national position I worked incredibly hard for to ‘stay at home’. Once on the other side, I couldn’t understand why it took us so long to make the decision. Being home was exactly where I needed to be at this point in my life.

Like everyone, having children irrevocably changed  me. I am a new person with new priorities. I needed independence. I needed to set my own schedule and be flexible. I needed to be my own boss so I could better manage my family needs and my personal goals.

So we made the big decision and here we are!

Welcome to my blog, According to Amanda! Here you will enjoy a never ending stream of reviews and experiences on everything family. I hope you enjoy and find it helpful and informative!
